The Problem
How might we simplify the packing and transportation processes for individuals moving on their own?

Moving By Yourself
The moving process is stressful, messy, and complicated. Hiring a moving company is a quick solution but it can be expensive. The national average cost of moving a short distance (less than 100 miles) is $1,400 while the cost of a long-distance move is upwards of $5,700. If you are lucky, the alternative is to move with the help of friends and family. However, for some, the only option is to brave the moving process on their own.
Hassle of Packing and Unpacking
Trying to pack round or asymmetrical objects into a cardboard box will bring out the Tetris master in all of us. Let's put it simply: packing is hard. Even from the beginning stages -- buying packing tape and hundreds of cardboard boxes -- to the end stages -- realizing you accidentally packed the scissors and forgetting which box it is in, the packing process is stressful and tedious from start to finish.

Lost or Damaged Belongings
You accidentally drop a box and hear the terrifying crash of glass breaking. That one box with all your important documents mysteriously disappears from the stack of boxes in your living room. You successfully arrive at your new home but can't quite remember where you packed your toothbrush. So many things can go wrong when you move. There's always a risk of losing or breaking your belongings at any stage of the moving process.
